  BABY MONITOR MARKET According to the Allied Market Research, the baby monitor market was worth 1.2 billion in 2019 and is expected to increase to 1.9 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 5.4 percent between 2020 and 2027. Because of the development of the worldwide electronic industry and the rise of digitalization, the global baby monitor market is booming.   AUDIO SIGNAL  An audio signal is a representation of sound, typically as an electrical voltage. Audio signals have frequencies in the audio frequency range of roughly 20 to 20,000 Hz (the limits of human hearing). Audio signals may be synthesized directly, or may originate at a transducer such as a microphone, musical instrument pickup, phonograph cartridge, or tape head. Loudspeakers or headphones convert an electrical audio signal into sound. Digital representations of audio signals exist in a variety of formats. Likewise, digital audio is composed of discrete points representing the amplitude of the waveform rather than a continous sinusoidal wave. At these points are the sequence of seperate samples taken from an analog audio waveform. Hence, the more the sample in use, the higher the representation will be. INTRODUCTORY FYP1 BRIEFING BY: MR. MOHAMAD SHAIFUL BIN OSMAN     For the second week, the introductory briefing for FYP 1 was conducted via Microsoft Teams. Attendance is compulsory for all FYP 1 students. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Mohamad Shaiful bin Osman. WEEK 1

 FIND POTENTIAL SUPERVISOR  Week 1 of my Final Year Project 1, I was spent on looking for supervisor for my project. After having some information about all the lecturers, I contacted them through "WhatsApp" to see if they are available to be my supervisor. After that, I finally decided to be supervised under Assoc Prof Dr Zulkifli Abdul Kadir Bakti.  My supervisor asked me what is my preference, hardware and software and I brief him my idea which is Smart Cradle System. Smart Cradle System is using IOT which will help the parents or care takers to monitor their child even if they are away from home or somewhere and detect every activity of the from any distant. But, he asked me to keep minimum and try focusing on baby crying. He also recommended to used Raspberry Pi and respeaker smart microphone.
